Or, we can integrate vegetables, herbs and other edibles in to your ornamental garden to enrich the texture and fragrance. Whether you want to have a garden to nourish the lives of your kids or grandkids, create spectacular containers, or store dried flowers for hot winter teas, your edible landscape will be designed to fit your location and lifestyle.
While you are at it . . . consider adding a flock of hens to bring your garden to life and add fresh eggs to your cupboard. Raising hens has become one of Barbara’s favorite pastimes and she will share tips for getting started and maintaining their environment.
Talks & Inspiration
With the passion and experience of a lifelong gardener, Barbara is available to share her experiences as a vegetable gardener with home gardeners in talks similar to those she has given at the New England Flower Show, garden centers, garden clubs, and Rotary clubs. With inspiration, ideas and some tender, loving care, everyone can have a green thumb!
